Xi 'an Mingren Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., registered and established in May 2001, is now a national intangible cultural heritage-"Ma Mingren Plaster Making Techniques" protection unit (recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism).

The company was founded by Mr. Ma Xubin, the sixth generation inheritor of Ma Mingren's plaster making techniques, and currently has 80 employees, including 38 craftsmen who produce intangible cultural heritage products. The company consists of four major departments, namely, the production factory department, the direct sales department, the franchise business management department and the Internet sales department. The company is mainly engaged in the production and sales of external medicated plaster products. The main products include two aspects, one is black plaster and herbal plaster made according to traditional ancient techniques, and the other is new dosage plaster produced according to modern plaster making techniques.

At present, the company's business has covered Chinese mainland, and has developed a number of entity business models, such as "Ma Mingren Medicated Plaster Shop" and "Ma Mingren joint bones and muscles Health Club ", and has opened more than 1,000 offline entity stores nationwide. At the same time, the company has also vigorously developed the sales of Internet platforms, and has opened official flagship stores of e-commerce platforms in Tmall, JD.COM and Pinduoduo. At present, the company is in good operating condition and has no bad records.

In 2014, the company's core intellectual property rights--"Ma Mingren's Plaster Making Techniques " was rated as a representative project of national intangible cultural heritage by the State Council.

In 2022, the brand name of "Ma Mingren" was evaluated as "Xi'an Time-honored Brand" by Xi 'an Municipal Bureau of Commerce.

Ⅱ.About the history of Ma Mingren brand

Ma Mingren brand, founded in 1936 (twenty-five years of the Republic of China), is the name of Mr. Ma Mingren, the third generation inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage techniques of the Ma family.

The paste-making techniques of the Ma family have been passed down for six generations since Mr. Ma Liuyi, and the time has been more than 160 years. Due to the great contribution of the third-generation inheritor, Mr. Ma Mingren, this techniques was named "Ma Mingren's Plaster Making Techniques ", which was appraised as the intangible cultural heritage of Shaanxi Province in 2011, and was appraised as a representative project of  China national intangible cultural heritage by the State Council in 2014.

In 1936, Mr. Ma Mingren treated the waist diseases for General Yang Hucheng (a famous patriotic general in China) and got the advice of General Yang Hucheng. Therefore, the "Ma family Clinic " was renamed as "Ma Mingren Medicated Plaster Shop", and the original "Ma family Medicated Plaster" was called "Ma Mingren Medicated Plaster", thus the brand of Ma Mingren was founded.

At the end of 1980s, Ma's descendants began to restore the self-employed mode of their family's original entity shop in Xi 'an, and it was not easy to start a business. However, through continuous efforts, Ma's family overcame difficulties and began to operate as a company in 2001.

Ma Mingren's trademark has obtained trademark registration certificates from Chinese mainland, China, Taiwan Province, China, Hongkong, Japan, the United States and other countries and regions.

At present, Ma Mingren brand has separated R&D, production and sales, implemented professional division of labor management, and established a heritage base for traditional skills of intangible cultural heritage. 

Xi' an mingren pharmaceutical co., ltd. is responsible for the production of products; Shaanxi Ma Mingren Plaster Shop Co., Ltd. is responsible for the market-oriented management and sales of Ma Mingren brand stores.

Ⅲ. Introduction of specific products

1. In the aspect of traditional herbal plaster, the main representatives are Ma Mingren Sesame Oil Plaster (traditional black plaster), Ma Mingren Dahei Plaster (special for lumbar vertebrae), Ma Mingren Collateral Plaster, gastrointestinal health care plaster, etc. These products are all made by traditional Chinese medicine, which is a classic of Chinese medicine plaster, selected from traditional Chinese herbal medicines and made according to family inheritance formulas and techniques.

2. In the aspect of modern new dosage forms, the products are mainly "Ma Mingren medical hot compress patch", "Ma Mingren far-infrared physiotherapy patch" and "Ma Mingren sea salt nasal spray" developed and produced according to the national regulatory requirements and the management norms of health care products and medical devices.

At the same time, combined with the intangible tradition of Ma Mingren's plaster making techniques, the company also developed products such as Ma Mingren's herbal hot compress powder, Ma Mingren's herbal mud moxibustion, Ma Mingren's health pillow and Ma Mingren's foot bath bag.

马明仁品牌及西安明仁药业有限公司介绍

一、公司概况

西安明仁药业有限公司，注册成立于2001年5月，现为国家级非物质文化遗产——“马明仁膏药制作技艺”的保护单位（国家文化与旅游部认定）。

该公司为马明仁膏药制作技艺第六代传承人马绪斌先生创立，现有员工80人，其中非遗产品生产用工38人。公司下设四大部门，即生产厂部、直营店销部、加盟业务管理部及互联网销售部。公司主要从事外用膏贴类产品的生产与销售，主要产品包括两大方面，一是按照传统古法非遗技艺制作的黑膏药和草本膏药，二是按照现代制膏技艺而生产的新剂型膏药。

目前公司业务已经覆盖中国大陆，现已发展了“马明仁膏药铺”、“马明仁筋骨养生馆”等多个实体经营模式，并在全国开设了超过1000余家的线下实体店铺。同时，公司也已大力发展互联网平台的销售，已经开设了天猫、京东、拼多多电商平台的官方旗舰店。目前公司经营状况良好，无不良记录。

2014年，公司的核心技艺——“马明仁膏药制作技艺”，被国务院评定为国家级非物质文化遗产代表性项目。

2022年，“马明仁”字号被西安市商务局评定为“西安老字号”品牌。

二、关于马明仁品牌的历史

马明仁品牌，创立于1936年（中华民国二十五年），系马氏家族非遗技艺第三代传承人马明仁先生的名讳。马氏家族制膏技艺自马六懿先生开始已传承六代，时间已超过160余年。因第三代传承人马明仁先生的巨大贡献，该技艺被命名为“马明仁膏药制作技艺”，并于2011年被评定为陕西省非物质文化遗产，后于2014年被国务院评定为国家级非物质文化遗产代表性项目。

马明仁先生曾于1936年为杨虎城将军治疗腰疾，并得到杨虎城将军的建议，“马氏药铺”因而被更名为“马明仁膏药铺”，原“马氏膏药”被称之为“马明仁膏药”，马明仁品牌由此创立。

二十世纪80年代末，马氏传人在西安开始恢复其家族原有实体店铺的个体经营模式，创业不易，但经过不断努力，马氏家族克服困难并于2001年开始进行公司化经营。

马明仁商标目前已获得包括中国大陆、中国台湾、中国香港、日本、美国等国家和地区的商标注册证书。

目前，马明仁品牌已经实行了研发、生产与销售的分离，实行专业化的分工管理，并建立了国家级非遗技艺传承与保护基地。西安明仁药业有限公司专门负责产品的生产；陕西马明仁膏药铺有限责任公司，专职负责马明仁品牌实体店铺的市场化管理与销售。

三、具体产品情况

1、在传统膏贴方面，主要代表为遵循古法技艺制作的“马明仁麻油膏”（传统黑膏药）、“马明仁大黑膏”（腰椎专用）、“马明仁筋络舒贴”（草本膏药）、胃肠保健贴等，以上产品均为非遗技艺传统中医方式制膏，选取祖国传统草本中药，按照家族传承配方与技艺制作，是中医膏药的经典代表。

2、在现代新剂型方面，主要为按照国家监管要求，依照保健用品及医疗器械的管理规范，研发并生产的“马明仁医用热敷贴”、“马明仁远红外理疗贴”、“马明仁海盐鼻腔喷雾器”等产品。

同时，结合马明仁膏药制作技艺的非遗传统，公司还研发了“马明仁本草热敷散”、“马明仁本草泥灸”、“马明仁保健枕”、“马明仁足浴袋”等产品。
